Inwards opening window

In many places, inwards opening windows are more appropriate than outwards opening windows. When open for ventilation purposes, for example, inwards opening windows provide a “tidier” façade than outwards opening windows – particularly on a larger building where several windows are open for ventilation.

Exterior sun shades as blinds or screens are increasingly popular. These require an inwards opening window or fixed frame window.

Ideal as patio doors

The windows are also available as doors (single or double). Particularly suitable for French balconies. Double weather stripping makes the window/door energy-efficient and insulates against noise
