The introduction of more stringent statutory requirements to prevent heat loss through windows and doors has resulted in the use of glazing with high insulating properties.
These have a number of benefits for the environment, indoor comfort and power consumption, but also have a disadvantage; they can result in condensation forming outdoors on your windows at certain times of the year.
Anti-fog glass has now been developed to reduce and delay condensation outdoors on windows.
This glass has a coating on the exterior pane that increases the temperature of the glass and minimises condensation.
Anti-fog glass cannot be combined with all types of functional glass.
