Energy glass is coated with a selective layer that retains indoor heat and allows the heat from the sun to penetrate. The purpose of the glass is to provide the optimal indoor climate with minimum energy consumption and environmental impact. Due to new energy requirements (TEK 17), windows and doors with triple glazing energy glass are now standard. This type of glazing will minimise heat loss and allow a comfortable indoor climate with reduced draughts and cold radiation.
